Gizmodo tears up Windows Mobile 6.5, I feel like they were still too nice.

This is completely unacceptable. It's painful when Apple has more or less shown companies how to innovate and create a beautiful and usable interfaces on a mobile device and companies still find a way to muck it up.

There's very little about the interface here that makes me want to use it. It's almost mind blowing how bad the UI is. I haven't tested this, so I have no idea, it could be incredibly snappy and easy to use but just from looking at it I have serious doubts. What is Microsoft doing?

Hopefully Windows Mobile 7 will be a very large jump in the right direction, for Microsoft's sake.

Stefan Sagmeister: The power of time off

Another great TED video (I kinda watch a lot of these.) I've always liked Stefan Sagmeister's philosophies on work and life, even if I'm not a fan of all of his work. I've often thought about taking some time off to do some self discovery. Sadly the things being the way they are and personal responsibility this doesn't really seem possible at the moment. A great story and some inspiration for the morning.
